Sponsor and affiliate disclosure

Money never affects ranking. Order is decided only by how many different hackers recommend a repo. No one can pay to be listed, moved up, or kept off the list.

Today this site has no sponsors and no affiliate links. If that changes, this is the policy:

• Sponsored placements, if any, appear in a separate box labelled "sponsor" and never inside the ranked list.
• Affiliate links, if any, carry a visible "affiliate" label and rel="sponsored".
• Every sponsor or affiliate relationship will be listed on this page with the start date.
• Rankings and the downloadable data are produced by the same code for everyone and are not edited by hand.
